Sacramento-Roseville Third Track Project receives $42.5 million grant from Federal Railroad AdministrationThe Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority recently announced that it was awarded a $42.5 million Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) grant from the Federal Railroad Administration for the Sacramento-Roseville Third Track Project. Once constructed, this project will expand Capitol Corridor service to Placer County from the current one round trip to three round trips.
