Public Notice: Consistency Determination For The Auburn Municipal Airport Layout Plan and Narrative Report

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN (including to all property owners within 300 feet of the Auburn Municipal Airport boundary) that the Placer County Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) will conduct a public hearing on the date and time noted below, on a request from the City of Auburn to review the Auburn Municipal Airport Layout Plan and Narrative Report for consistency with the Placer County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan. The Auburn Municipal Airport Layout Plan is available for download here and the Narrative Report is available for download here.

State law requires that a public agency owning an airport within the boundaries of an ALUC shall, prior to approval of its Airport Master Plan or Airport Layout Plan, refer such proposed change to the ALUC. The ALUC must then determine whether the proposal is consistent, conditionally consistent, or inconsistent with the adopted Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan for that airport. The public hearing will be held on:

All interested persons are encouraged to attend and participate. The Auburn Municipal Airport Layout Plan and Narrative Report and the ALUC staff report and recommendation, will be available for review at PCTPA’s offices and can also be downloaded at http://pctpa.net/agendas2019/ ten days prior to the public hearing date.
