The California Department of Transportation(Caltrans), in cooperation with the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency (PCTPA), Placer County, and the Cities of Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln, proposes to widen State Route (SR) 65 from north of Galleria Boulevard/Stanford Ranch Road to Blue Oaks Boulevard, and add auxiliary lanes from Blue Oaks Boulevard to Lincoln Boulevard in Placer County, California. The project proposes to relieve existing mainline congestion by adding capacity to improve traffic operations and safety. The additional capacity would help planned and anticipated growth along the corridor and would help achieve the mobility and economic development goals of PCTPA.
