Public Notice: Civil Rights (Title VI) Program

The Western Placer Consolidated Transportation Services Agency Board of Directors will consider adoption of a three-year Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Civil Rights Program on September 24, 2014.  The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines to ensure that the Western Placer Consolidated Transportation Services Agency non-emergency medical transportation service, known as Health Express, is in compliance with all Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Title VI requirements in order to carry out the provisions of the Department of Transportation (DOT) Title VI Regulations at 49 CFR Part 21. This policy follows the requirements detailed in FTA Circular 4702.1B, “Title VI Requirements and Guidelines for Federal Transit Administration Recipients,” dated October 1, 2012.
