Deputy Executive Director Recruitment

About the Position

The Deputy Executive Director, under the management of the Executive Director, plans, directs, and executes many of PCTPA’s work program efforts; provides professional staff support and consultation to the Executive Director and Board of Directors; participates in the development of long and short term planning activities; performs a variety of complex project management activities to support the timely and cost-effective execution of PCTPA-led transportation projects and programs; oversees and supervises the transportation planning staff, consultants and leads inter-agency project development teams for major initiatives. The Deputy Director may serve as acting Executive Director during absences, as assigned.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned transportation professional whose leadership inspires confidence with the broad skill set needed to make things happen. PCTPA expects to hire a candidate with top-notch organizational and project management skills with a commitment to collaboration, who has demonstrated the ability to find ways through administrative and technical obstacles to get the job done.
