South Placer Transit Information Center (Call Center)

If you have any questions regarding public transit services operated in South Placer County, please call 745-7560. It can be dialed using either the 916 or 530 area code. The phone line is available daily, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. (hours may vary on holidays).

South Placer County has three transit operators:

Auburn Transit

Auburn Transit operates on-demand transit service within the City of Auburn and select nearby destinations.

Placer County Transit

Placer County Transit operates fixed route transit, dial-a-ride service, app-based on-demand transit in the cities of Colfax, Lincoln, Rocklin, and the Town of Loomis, as well as intermediate destinations. It also operates commuter bus service to downtown Sacramento.

Roseville Transit

Roseville Transit operates fixed route transit, app-based on-demand transit with the City of Roseville as well as commuter bus service to downtown Sacramento.

Truckee/Tahoe Area

Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit (TART) – (800) 736-6365

TART operates public bus transit service in North Tahoe with routes connecting Truckee, Tahoe City, Northstar, Olympic Valley, Kings Beach, and Incline Village, NV.
